Wavesight's WaveMAX wireless technology is also being used to deliver robust VoIP, Video and Data from control centres to public transport and vice versa, increasing security, adding value for commuters and increasing efficiency.
One example of this is our work with the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) in London. Here Wavesight's wireless bridges are employed to transmit CCTV video from each carriage back to the DLR control centre in real time, allowing its management to proactively deal with incidents or even prevent them from happening in the first place. |
