The 4-channel units further extend the company's wide range of arbitrary waveform / function generators. Additionally they set new records in sample clock speeds, memory, instrument control and box size. The 4-channel models leverage all of Tabor Electronics' advances in component speed, D to A conversion and communication technology to offer waveform creation and output capabilities that overcome existing limitations found in competitor products, such as box size.
Featuring 3 new models, these digital instruments combine the capabilities and complexity of digital conversion and control with the signal integrity of synthesized analog generators. Sample rates from 50MS/s to 200MS/s mean wide frequency ranges from 25MHz to 80MHz, making these instruments ideal for many applications, such as three phase power simulation and four channel MEMS microengine actuators, in which 3 or 4 channels are required to drive the simulation or stimulation. 16-bit DAC's are used for building waveforms with excellent accuracy and resolution suitable for the most refined test signals necessary for today's highly sensitive instruments.
The 4-channels package is identical to the 2U, half 19", compact case size of all Wonder Wave models enabling users to conserve space and cost without compromising bandwidth and signal integrity. The generating performance is enhanced by the use of Ethernet, USB 2.0 and the traditional GPIB control interfaces, as well as many other features that have set new standards in Tabor's outstanding Wonder Wave Series, including Tabor's unique ArbConnection software.
Some key features: o Sine and Square waves generated to 80MHz o 16 Bit of vertical resolution o Up to 2M waveform memory o Four separate SYNC outputs for independent channel synchronization o 10 Vpp into 50Ω, double into open circuit o Multiple run modes including trigger, re-trigger and trigger delay o PSK and QAM modulation o 10 separate and sequences link and loop segments in user-definable order o 3.8" high resolution color LCD display o Ethernet, USB and GPIB interfaces o Multi-Instrument synchronization
According to Ron Glazer, Manager, Business Development, "there is a constant demand for solutions with more channels, in smaller, faster, higher-end products. Our customers can rest assured that the latest technologies implemented in Wonder Wave Series features and capabilities are built for the future."
