Tabor Electronics Model WW2074 wins Honourable Mention in Best In Test 2007

 11 Jan 2007

Tabor Electronics announced today that its Model WW2074 captured Honourable Mention in the 2007 Test and Measurement Best in Test awards. Tabor was cited for bringing significant technological advancement to market in the test and measurement field, offering best price-performance ratio in a compact, cost-effective package.

Model 2074, is a four-channel universal waveform synthesizer. Its compact design saves space and cost without compromising bandwidth and signal integrity. The instrument outputs either standard or user-defined waveforms in the range of 100 MHz to 80 MHz. 16-bit DACs are used for building waveforms with excellent accuracy and resolution which are suitable for the finest test signals required for today's sensitive instruments. Incorporating cutting-edge technology, customers can rest assured that Model 2074 features and capabilities will meet todays and tomorrows test and measurement challenges.

Model WW2074 is top-of-the-line in Tabor's latest 4-channel additions to the Wonder Wave Series. The three new models in the series combine the capabilities and complexity of digital conversion and control with the signal integrity of synthesized analogue generators. Sample rates from 50MS/s to 200MS/s mean wide frequency ranges from 25MHz to 80MHz, making these instruments ideal for many applications, such as three phase power simulation and four channel MEMS micro-engine actuators, in which 3 or 4 channels are required to drive the simulation or stimulation. 16-bit DACs are used for building waveforms with excellent accuracy and resolution suitable for the most refined test signals necessary for today's highly sensitive instruments.

"The main challenge was to design a four channel model, while keeping its size and price at minimum." said Moti Glazer, CEO of Tabor Electronics. Ron Glazer, Business Development for Tabor added "I'm very pleased that Tabor was able to replicate its product design excellence once again and be awarded for it. This is the second time in a row that one of our new products was nominated and won an award for excellence.

Russ Pratt, Test & Measurement World, Publisher commented: "I'd like to congratulate Tabor on achieving yet another Honourable Mention. This is the second time that Tabor has nominated a product for our award program and won the award. We are proud that Tabor has chosen to participate in this program and recognize their innovation.
