Provision of L-Band Architecture RF Systems

CapRock Communications, a leading global satellite communications provider to extreme and remote locations, needed to implement an L band Architecture to their expanding Teleport facility in Aberdeen.

This would allow them to distribute at L Band their traffic to any of their antennas from a central RF facility on their site. Lower cost L Band up and down frequency converters were provided as a reliable 1:N configuration were installed in the centralised RF facility and 1:1 L-Band block converters were allocated for each antenna. The customer could then with a flexible signal patching and distribution support full coverage for all their antennas with the minimal amount of equipment.

Sematron worked with the customer to design and build the system to meet their requirements. Presented the system for Factory Acceptance and subsequently delivered and installed the systems to their site.

This approach not only offered the customer a complete solution but they also had a system that was built to a professional standard to their exacting requirements which they are proud to show to their own customers.
